Dear Parents,
Our priests will be doing a special SARASWATHI POOJA for Hindu School children, from 4:00pm - 5:00 pm at the temple on Sunday - October 5th.
Children and parents are encouraged to attend.
Children may bring a book, pen/pencil, geometry box etc. to the temple to be part of the pooja. Please limit to an item or two per child. They can take it back at the end of the pooja.
Please also note that the last day to register your child for the Hindu school year 2008-2009 is Sunday, October 26th 2008.

Congratulations Youth Group!
Indian community Foundation presented a plaque to the youth group for their volunteer work in the community.
- 4th Annual Saree Sale was a great success. we collected $ 4600.00
- November Meeting is on 11/23/08 at 11:00 AM at Kemparajurs residence.
- Car wash was a big success. We raised $1600.00.
- Please mark your calender for April 11, 2009 for 4th annual "Lets Kick Cancer Walk" at Tom Sawyer State Park 10:00 AM - Noon.

WE WISH THEM ALL THE BEST
Youth group had a wonderful 2007-2008 Year.
1. They clean the Temple every 2nd and 4th Sunday every month.
2. They helped the Temple raise over 6 thousand dollars at the 2007 annual Saree sale, totaling 13,000 dollars for the past three saree sales combined.
3. The Youth Group with Teens Of Kentucky have raised over 30 thousand dollars in the 3rd annual ‘Let’s Kick Cancer Walk’.
4. They participated in INDIA DAY conducted by INDIA COMMUNITY OF KENTUCKY and collected about one thousand dollars
